BlueTEC catalytic converter technology uses the reactant AdBlue® to purify exhaust gases. This makes it possible to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions by up to 90%. This exceptionally clean diesel technology is implemented in the E 350 BlueTEC. It already complies with the future Euro 6 emissions class.
The latest-generation CDI diesel engines combine irresistible performance characteristics with low consumption. Injection pressure has been increased, smoothness of operation enhanced and noise levels optimised – while reduced compression makes for lower emission levels.
Direct injection, increased compression and turbocharging in the 4-cylinder CGI engines enable top torque, output and noise reduction figures. Innovative engine technology makes it possible to significantly reduce emissions and fuel consumption compared with previous models.
The new E 200 NGT BlueEFFICIENCY can run on both natural gas and petrol. Natural Gas Technology (NGT) has proven to be a low-emission and economical alternative.
