Dimmable ambient lighting is included as standard with the G 55 AMG and is available as an option for the G 350 BlueTEC and G 500. This function is coupled with the instrument cluster lighting. It includes fibre-optic cable in the door side trim panels, door opening lights, footwell lighting, and illumination of the stowage tray in the centre console. This creates an attractive lighting experience, emphasising the generous proportions and luxurious comfort of the interior.
