The hard-disk navigation of the optional COMAND APS and its high-resolution 6.5-inch colour display provide more detailed information than the instrument cluster. A navigation computer is integrated in COMAND APS. Based on the new telematics generation NTG 2.5, it allows you to navigate to your destination with a bird's-eye view. The LINGUATRONIC voice-operated control system, also integrated in the COMAND APS, has been further improved. For example, you can now use whole-word voice input to control the navigator, radio and telephone without any prior voice training. In addition the Bluetooth interface recognises any compatible mobile telephones.

The reversing camera image of the optional PARKTRONIC parking aid is also shown in the COMAND APS display. An optional TV tuner for analogue and digital TV reception is available in conjunction with the COMAND APS multimedia system.
