The GL is equipped as standard with new seats in a fluting design and features an extremely comfortable second seat row. An electrically folding third seat row, which converts the GL into a comfortable 7-seater, is available as an option.

All seats are upholstered in elegant ARTICO man-made leather and are also optionally available in leather or nappa leather (GL 500 has nappa leather as standard). Driver and front-passenger sides feature fully power-adjustable seats. And using the optional memory package (standard in V8 models), the driver's seat (and front passenger's seat) moves automatically into a position you have stored.

The settings for the exterior mirrors and steering column can also be stored. And relaxed driving is guaranteed thanks to the electrically adjustable 4-way lumbar support integrated in the driver’s seat. The V8 models are equipped as standard with multicontour front seats. Front climatised seats (heating/ventilation) are also available as an optional extra.
