BlueTEC catalytic conversion technology uses the reactant AdBlue® to purify exhaust gases. This makes it possible to reduce nitrogen oxides by up to 90%. This exceptionally clean diesel technology is implemented in the R 350 BlueTEC 4MATIC. It already complies with the requirements of the future Euro 6 emission class.
The latest-generation CDI diesel engines combine irresistible performance characteristics with low consumption. Injection pressure has been increased, smoothness of operation enhanced and noise levels optimised – while reduced compression makes for lower emission levels.
