Premium-quality upholstery invites you to remain seated. The long-wheelbase versions are equipped with leather upholstery and heated front and rear seats as standard. The optional climatised front seats (standard for the S 600 and AMG models) ensure a pleasant seat climate in the entire seating area.

So that even long journeys in the S-Class become a real pleasure, we have developed the active multicontour seats with massage and dynamic handling function[1], included in the optional seating comfort package.

Once you’re sitting comfortable, you can relax and enjoy the massage function: seven massage chambers and four different modes produce a rolling movement designed to stimulate the back muscles. The function can be individually adapted using the COMAND multimedia system.

On the rear seats, the optional seating comfort package (standard for S 600 and S 65 AMG) offers multi-contour seats, which also feature a massage function and are equipped with luxury head restraints. With the optionally available memory package for the rear, both outer seats can be electrically adjusted and can be moved into a preset position at the touch of a button.

And NECK-PRO luxury head restraints for the front seats provide plenty of lateral head support thanks to flexible side bolsters, which can be adjusted to suit your requirements; they counterbalance centrifugal forces experienced in the head area, contributing to a more secure seating position.

The PRE-SAFE® positioning function provides an additional safety feature for the active multicontour seats. If a critical situation is detected, seats and head restraints are automatically moved into a more favourable crash position. At the same time, the air chambers are inflated to stabilise the front seat occupants.
