In terms of sophisticated, tried-and-trusted technology and the ultimate in comfort, you know you have made the right choice.
The rules governing liability for material defects state that, within the first two years following delivery of the vehicle or, if earlier, initial registration of the vehicle, with unlimited mileage, you can make complaints about your Mercedes-Benz to any outlet that is part of the Mercedes-Benz service network.
However, Damage which occurs due to the following is excluded from warranty:
• Motorsport • accidents • Attachment parts/conversion parts without DCAG authorization • Misuse • Use of non-Mercedes-Benz Genuine parts • Performance or model changes • Exceeding permissible axle loads • Natural/environmental influences • Unsuitable service products • Unsuitable vehicle care
In addition, no warranty can be provided for:
• Normal maintenance and repair in accordance with the Maintenance and Repair specifications of DaimlerChrysler AG for MB vehicles. • Wear parts, provided this is natural wear due to general operation. • Glass damage, if it is not clearly proven that there is no manufacturing or plant installation fault. • Secondary damage (follow-up costs and product liability) which occur subsequently after the occurrence of the claim.
